The Harbour at North Berwick in East Lothian, Scotland, was originally a ferry port for pilgrims travelling to St. Andrews in Fife. The harbour was built around 1150.

This is a long exposure taken at the old chain pier at North Berwick Harbour.

I love the simplicity of this shot.  It is just so peaceful and serene maybe that’s why I enjoy long exposure photography – that feeling of calm.
